Xsolla Introduces Integrated Backend and Global Payment Solutions for Games, With Founding Partner AccelByte
LOS ANGELES - Wednesday, 19. August 2026 AETOSWire
Game Developers Can Now Apply For Early Access To The Integrated Solution Ahead Of Launch
(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, today introduced integrated backend solutions for game developers through a founding partnership with AccelByte, a fully managed extensible games backend platform, and opened a closed testing program for a combined solution that pairs AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS) with Xsolla's global payments and monetization tools. Select developers can now apply for early access and help shape the integration ahead of its broader launch.
As studios scale live games across PC, mobile, console, and the web, managing player persistence, gaming backend, and global transactions adds cost and slows launches. Through the founding partnership with AccelByte, Xsolla brings AccelByte's backend services together with its own payments and monetization in one integrated stack, so studios no longer need to stitch separate solutions together on their own. The integration is shaped by direct input from studios shipping live games today.
During the closed testing period, partner studios will help validate:
Developer-centric foundation: Being built with input from studios and developers actively shipping live games across regions, platforms, and player types. Test partners will directly shape the feature set and modular implementation options.
Integrated backend and payments: Will combine AccelByte's backend services, including player management, matchmaking, store, and AI-powered integration tools and analytics, with Xsolla's payment, subscription, monetization, and identity services in an interoperable layer.
Simplified deployment without heavy engineering: Designed so studios can stand up and operate live game services without building backend infrastructure in-house or staffing dedicated LiveOps teams, reducing time-to-market and accelerating iteration cycles.
Global monetization coverage: Through Xsolla's global game payment platform, participating studios gain access to over 1,000 payment methods across more than 200 geographies, opening new revenue channels for games.
"We're building this backend and game services integration with AccelByte by listening to developers who use both of our platforms," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "Our first test partners will help us prove that a studio can stand up backend services and global payments together, without staffing separate teams for each, and get to market faster as a result."
"AccelByte's comprehensive and scalable platform and toolset is now more accessible and easier for developers to integrate and operate," said Junaili Lie, CEO and Technical Director at AccelByte. "We’re excited to partner with Xsolla, which shares our belief in making powerful technology accessible to studios of every size. By combining our technology and expertise, we can help studios launch faster, operate smarter, and reach players globally."
The closed testing program is limited to a small group of studios ahead of a broader rollout. Developers can meet both teams at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, at the Xsolla booth in Hall 2.2, #A030-B035, or register their interest in the program at xsolla.pro/backend.
To learn more about Xsolla’s integrated backend & global payments, schedule a meeting at gamescom or email partnerships@xsolla.com.

Xsolla Partner Network Expands Verified Creator Partnerships and Unifies Campaign Management Ahead of gamescom 2026
LOS ANGELES -
Developers Gain Vetted Creator Partnerships And A Single Campaign Workflow, Managed From The Publisher Account They Already Use
(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, today announced an expansion of the Xsolla Partner Network ahead of gamescom 2026 in Cologne, giving game developers a simpler, more reliable way to grow their games through creators. The creator platform now lives within Xsolla Publisher Account, where developers already run their business, with verified creator onboarding and a redesigned and unified campaign workflow. Flat-fee campaigns, a new guaranteed payment option alongside revenue share, and data-driven creator recommendations are coming soon.
Xsolla Partner Network gives developers one place to launch, manage, track, and report on creator campaigns while Xsolla handles payments, payouts, taxes, and compliance.
Verified creators, less guesswork. Automated anti-fraud vetting and identity verification at payout means developers partner with real, verified creators and campaigns reach genuine audiences.
One campaign system, coming soon. Campaign management will be redesigned and unified, so video game key campaigns and revenue-share campaigns run through a single workflow. Developers will launch and manage all creator activity from one place, with the attribution depth to see every click, sale, and dollar a campaign drives.
Flat-fee campaigns, coming soon. Revenue-share campaigns will soon be joined by flat-fee campaigns, giving developers a new way to attract creators who want a guaranteed payment rather than a percentage-based one and helping keep creators invested for the duration of a campaign.
One home for creators. Creators now run their entire business from a Creator Business Account on Xsolla.com: campaigns, earnings, payouts, storefronts, and streaming tools including alerts, overlays, chatbot, widgets, and tipping. The tools creators rely on do not change, and creator storefronts remain right where their fans already shop. What changes is that everything now lives in one place, on the same platform their publishing partners already use.
"The way players discover games has changed for good. They find their next game through people they watch and trust, not through ads they skip, and that puts creators at the center of how every game grows from here,” said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla.
“The problem is that most studios were never built for this. They don't have a creator marketing department. They have one person, a budget, and no time to vet a hundred channels or chase down payouts across a dozen countries. That's the gap Partner Network closes. Every creator is verified, every campaign runs through one workflow, and every payment is handled, all inside the account developers already use to run their game. One person can now run a creator program that used to take an entire team, and that changes who gets to compete.”
Developers can learn more about Xsolla Partner Network at xsolla.com/partner-network. Creators can get started at xsolla.com/for/creators.

GenBio AI Builds First World Model of the Human Cell
PALO ALTO, Calif. -
First-of-its-kind system simulates human cell behavior across the full biological hierarchy, from DNA and RNA through protein to the whole-cell level
(BUSINESS WIRE)--GenBio AI ('GenBio') is an AI for Science company co-founded by Nobel Laureate David Baker, leading AI scientist Eric Xing, and other prominent life science and artificial intelligence researchers from Stanford, Carnegie Mellon University, Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Harvard, Weizmann Institute, and other research institutions. Today, the company introduced AIDO Cell, its virtual cell world model — the first system capable of simulating a human cell, both in its natural state and in response to drugs and other interventions, across its full biological hierarchy, from DNA and RNA through protein to the whole-cell level.
A Key First in Biological and Medical Sciences:
Full-hierarchy virtual cell simulation has been widely identified as a key milestone in computational biology. Compared to the previous efforts by various research labs, AIDO Cell is the first to integrate the entire molecular-to-cellular spectrum into one continuous simulation. Using the system, a researcher can perturb the cell at any level and observe how the entire cell responds. Knock out a gene, for example, and watch the effects cascade from gene regulation, to changes in protein behavior, to effects on the cell as a whole.
“What's exciting here isn't that we've solved cellular biology — we haven't, at least not yet. It's that, for the first time, we have a system capable of simulating a cell across the full hierarchy of biological scales, from DNA to whole-cell behavior, in one place, which lets you interrogate it computationally,” said Baker, who received the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his pioneering work in computational protein design. “AIDO Cell is a meaningful foundation to build on, even at this early stage, and could have major implications for fields like drug discovery, toxicology, and disease research broadly.”
AIDO Cell's multi-scale capability is made possible by an underlying world model-based architecture, representing one of the first biological applications for an emerging area of AI research. “What world model architecture enables, and what makes our system genuinely new, is that it's both multi-scale and stateful. The simulation remembers what you've done to the cell. You can run entire sequences of perturbations, where each one builds on the last, and see the evolving, cumulative effect in the cell, just as you would in a real (wet lab) workflow,” said GenBio AI President and Chief Scientist Eric Xing.
The process of bringing new drugs and therapies to market is notoriously slow, risky, and expensive. For every 10,000 compounds that enter the drug development pipeline, only one, on average, reaches the clinic. This process takes over 10 years at an estimated average cost of over US$2 billion per successful drug candidate. A major reason why is the sheer complexity of human biology and the inability of existing research tools to capture more than a fraction of it. AIDO Cell is a first step toward closing that gap. In an early case study, the system successfully recapitulated the mechanism behind imatinib in leukemia cells, demonstrating its ability to trace how a drug treatment cascades through the full cellular environment.
“We’ve released this version of the system as a preview, an early but functional demonstration that multi-scale, stateful virtual cell simulation is now possible,” said Xing. “We plan on releasing more advanced versions of the system with enhanced capabilities and accuracy later this year and over the next year.”
AIDO Cell supports K562 and HepG2 cell lines with additional cell types in development. GenBio is preparing to launch an early access/academic collaborator program to scientists across academia, biotech, and pharma.
