Documentary highlights examples spanning debt relief, financial education, credit empowerment and healthcare innovation.
Stories showcase how Experian's products, services and social innovation can help consumers navigate challenges and pursue personal and financial goals.

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- For years, Almir dreamed of meeting his granddaughter in the United States. But unresolved debt stood in the way. Thousands of miles away in Arizona, Elizabeth faced mounting medical expenses after a health crisis. In London, Rochelle worked to regain control of her finances while caring for family members. Their stories, and others like them, are at the heart of RECLAIM: Stories of Passion and Perseverance, a new documentary from global technology and data company Experian that explores how access to financial tools, technology and support can help people overcome obstacles and pursue new opportunities.

RECLAIM features five stories from the United States, Brazil and the United Kingdom that illustrate how financial access, innovation and community partnerships can create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families. Produced by Experian’s Sustainability team and inspired by Experian's mission to bring financial power to all, the film highlights real people whose lives have been positively impacted through products, services and social innovation initiatives designed to expand access and improve financial health:

Rebuilding after financial hardship

In Brazil, Almir and Simone each faced significant debt that limited their opportunities and aspirations. Through debt renegotiation and financial education resources, both were able to improve their financial situations and begin working toward new goals. For Almir, that meant the opportunity to reunite with family members abroad. For Simone, it meant growing her own business and building a stronger financial future.

Finding a path forward after medical debt

In Tucson, Arizona, Elizabeth faced mounting medical expenses following serious health complications. Her experience highlights the challenges many consumers face when navigating unexpected healthcare costs and the importance of support, education and access to resources that can help people regain financial stability.

Building confidence through financial tools

In London, Rochelle worked to better understand and manage her financial profile while balancing responsibilities as a caregiver. Her story demonstrates how access to information and digital financial tools can help consumers take greater control of their financial health and future.

Putting patients first

In Cleveland, Ohio, patients recovering from life-changing injuries experienced firsthand how technology can help simplify healthcare administration. Through solutions that help streamline processes, healthcare organisations can focus more time and attention on delivering care and improving patient experiences.

"At Experian, we're focused on helping create opportunities for consumers, clients and communities to thrive," said Abigail Lovell, Experian’s chief sustainability officer. "These stories bring our purpose to life by showing the real-world impact that access, innovation and information can have for people working to overcome challenges and achieve their goals."

Each unique story illustrates a broader truth: when people have access to the right tools, information and opportunities, they are better positioned to achieve their goals and build stronger futures.

Every Critical System Should Have a Backup: Elliptic Opens Up Fast Track Monitoring to the Crypto Industry

NEW YORK - Thursday, 05. November 2026

Fast Track Monitoring, powered by Elliptic Lens, gives compliance teams screening continuity when they need it most

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elliptic, the leader in on-chain risk management, is making Fast Track Monitoring available to firms with digital assets exposure as a back up screening option for firms that need business continuity, if their primary screening service is unavailable and they need a second option.

Criminals are increasingly using AI to scale their attacks, so on-chain risk now moves at machine speed. Compliance teams need the broadest range of options to keep screening every wallet and transaction, and a second screening provider builds resilience into any on-chain risk management approach. Elliptic recommends every business has one in place. Organizations that rely on a single screening vendor can also still need a second option.

Fast Track Monitoring gives compliance teams real-time wallet and transaction screening powered by Elliptic Lens, with a clear, explainable risk score on every wallet and transaction.

When screening stops, a compliance lead faces two hard choices: hold customer withdrawals, or let transactions through unchecked. Both are decisions they would have to explain to a regulator. The risk keeps moving too. Funds from the $6 billion Binance theft on 29 October are still being laundered, and a wallet that screens clean today can receive stolen funds hours late. Any firm processing transactions without screening takes on that risk with every deposit.

With Fast Track Monitoring organizations sign up and start screening in minutes, so they can keep serving customers while their primary service is restored. Fast Track Monitoring carries a one-off setup fee plus usage-based pricing, so they pay for the screening they use, when they need it, with no long-term contractual obligation.

A second screening provider is part of a credible business continuity plan. It shows regulators, auditors and boards that a firm has planned for disruption. Fast Track Monitoring runs on the same intelligence trusted by the world's largest exchanges and Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIBs), so compliance teams have a documented answer when asked what happens if their primary service goes down.

“Every compliance lead should be able to answer one question with confidence: what is your business continuity back up plan for screening? Criminals are using AI to move faster, and screening is the control every crypto business needs running, every hour of every day. Resilience means having a fallback ready before you need it. Fast Track Monitoring gives any compliance team that continuity, and we recommend every team builds it into its on-chain risk management approach,” said Jackson Hull, Chief Technology Officer at Elliptic.

Fast Track Monitoring is available now at: https://www.elliptic.co/products/fast-track-monitoring

Hyperice Unveils Normatec Elite Heat Legs: Integrated Heat Meets Dynamic Air Compression in a New Fully Wireless Design

FSA/HSA-Eligible Recovery Boots Deliver Five Levels of Heat and Seven Levels of Compression, Available for Pre-Order Now

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Hyperice, a high-performance wellness brand, today announced the launch of Normatec Elite Heat Legs, the newest innovation in the award-winning Normatec line and the first Normatec product to incorporate heat directly into its line of dynamic air compression therapy. As the 2024 launch of Normatec Elite signified a transformative leap forward in recovery technology, Elite Heat demonstrates Hyperice’s relentless commitment to offering athletes and wellness enthusiasts alike the most comprehensive and intuitive recovery experiences in the world.

“Innovation has always been at the forefront of everything we do,” said Jim Huether, CEO of Hyperice. “Heat and dynamic air compression are two of the most trusted modalities in warm-up and recovery, and together they amplify each other. With Normatec Elite Heat Legs, we're bringing both technologies to our most advanced full-leg system in a premium, wireless design, so athletes can prepare and recover with one device. This is the most advanced Normatec we've ever built.”

Built to help anyone prepare before activity and accelerate recovery after, HyperHeat™ technology is integrated into the boots to help activate muscles, amplify and increase circulation, and soothe soreness. At the same time, Hyperice’s patented Normatec dynamic air compression delivers a restorative massage designed to reduce tension and swelling. The combination of both heat and compression drives the therapeutic benefits deeper into the legs for a more amplified experience. Users can choose from five levels of heat and seven levels of compression to personalize every session.

HyperHeat™ Technology: Integrated heat throughout the boots with five levels (102-125°F / 39-52°C).

Seven Levels of Dynamic Air Compression: With seven adjustable compression settings (40-110 mmHg) users are able to tailor their experience to their exact needs across five overlapping zones with gapless coverage.

HyperSync™ Technology: First introduced in the award-winning Normatec Go, HyperSync™ technology allows the user to mimic the massage pattern automatically on both legs or run separate sessions on each leg.

ZoneBoost™ Technology: Provides extra time and pressure in a particular zone of the user's choice.

Performance, Unplugged: A fully wireless design with up to one hour of battery life on max heat and compression settings and up to 10 hours on compression only.

Built for a Faster Reset: A new deflate button releases air quickly so users can transition out of a session faster.

Travel-Ready and Connected: TSA-approved for carry-on, with Bluetooth® connectivity to the Hyperice App enabling users to personalize their recovery experience.

Built on the Normatec Legacy

Designed by a PhD and a physician bioengineer, the Normatec product line replicates the natural muscle pumps of the body, the one-way valves of the venous system, and peristalsis (cyclical waves of compression) to efficiently mobilize fluid to improve circulation, reduce swelling and inflammation, and accelerate recovery. Hyperice reset the standard for dynamic air compression with the introduction of Normatec Elite in June 2024, eliminating external hoses and control units. Normatec Elite Hips followed in October 2025 as the first fully portable, standalone dynamic air compression device engineered for the hips, IT bands, and lower back. Scientific studies have shown benefits of using Normatec include a decrease in pain sensitivity1 and muscle fatigue after exercise2, and an increase in range of motion3.

“How I feel on Sunday comes down to what I do Monday through Saturday,” said Jayden Daniels, Hyperice athlete. “With heat and compression working together, I can warm up and recover in one session without changing my routine, and that makes a real difference in how my legs feel heading into game day.”

Normatec Elite Heat Legs are available for pre-order today at hyperice.com for $1,499 and CA$1,999 in Canada, with orders shipping the week of November 23rd. The device is available in short (recommended for 5'7" and under), standard (recommended for 5'7" to 6'4"), and tall (recommended for 6'4" and over) sizes, and is FSA/HSA eligible. Normatec Elite Heat Legs will roll out to international markets in early 2027.

MariaDB Launches into the Agentic Era with an Agent-Ready Platform and a Bold New Brand

MariaDB Enterprise Platform 2027 brings 56% higher throughput, more resilience and new AI capabilities to one durable foundation, and a new brand identity marks the company’s evolution from database to platform for the agentic enterprise

(BUSINESS WIRE)--MariaDB plc, the Unified Open Database Platform for the Agentic Enterprise, today announced MariaDB Enterprise Platform 2027, a release that delivers 56% higher peak throughput¹, stronger resilience for multi-region deployments and faster ways to build and run AI agents. What began as an open source operational database now spans mission-critical transactions, real-time analytics, in-memory speed, AI tooling and multi-region scale on one unified platform. The new brand identity unveiled alongside it shows where the company is headed, powering the AI-driven enterprise with the world’s most trusted database platform.

Every AI agent in production is betting that the data in front of it is true. In most enterprises, that data is spread across multiple operational databases, a warehouse, vector stores, ETL engines and caches, and every integration between them adds latency, sync lag and another point of failure. The pressure is about to multiply. IDC predicts that by 2027, G2000 [the world’s 2,000 largest companies] agent use will increase tenfold, with token and API call loads rising a thousandfold². It also predicts that by 2027, companies that fail to establish high-quality, AI-ready data foundations will suffer a 15% productivity loss³. Enterprise Platform 2027 is built for that load and for the applications enterprises already run, so they can add agents without adding another brittle layer to their stack.

“The AI race won’t be won by the smartest model. It will be won by the companies that unify the infrastructure underneath their agents,” said Rohit de Souza, CEO of MariaDB plc. “Every system you bolt on for AI adds another seam, and seams break. Agents need a durable foundation that doesn’t shift underneath them, so you can trace every action they take. That’s why we build outward from the transactional core that already runs our customers’ most critical systems. MariaDB has moved far beyond being just a database. We are the platform the agentic enterprise is built on.”

What’s Inside Enterprise Platform 2027

Analytics-first vendors are working backward toward transactions, the hardest workload to get right. MariaDB builds outward from a transactional core already running mission-critical systems in every industry, from financial services and telecommunications to retail and the public sector, so every new capability inherits that reliability. Built on curated open source, the platform keeps its code open while MariaDB verifies contributors, vets releases and ships hardened builds, giving enterprises the transparency of open source with a vendor that’s accountable. Each part of the MariaDB Enterprise Platform 2027 release builds on that foundation to answer the demands modern applications and AI agents put on the enterprise.

Build agents faster: AI Retrieval grounds agents in documents and live operational data through one managed service, turning natural-language questions into read-only SQL. AI plugins bring MariaDB expertise into coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex, so developers get correct code the first time.

Run agents faster: Agent Memory gives agents a durable, in-memory store shared across sessions, so long-running agents pick up where they left off. Semantic Cache returns stored answers to questions already asked in different words, cutting response times and token costs.

Work from one unified data layer: MariaDB Exa runs real-time analytics on live operational data without complex pipelines. Vector search, built natively into the core engine, now delivers up to 30% more queries per second than the last major release, so AI applications get relevant results sooner.

Scale without the rebuild: This release delivers 56% higher peak throughput over the last major release in third-party testing, while Raft clustering and conflict detection and resolution add scale and resilience for multi-region deployments.

Maintain security and control: A unified set of role-based access controls spans every workload. Bring Your Own Cloud lets enterprises keep data where they choose, and FIPS 140-3 ensures that federal and other regulated enterprises can meet their cryptography requirements.

"The database has quietly become the hardest problem in enterprise AI,” said Devin Pratt, Research Director, Database Systems for Enterprise Intelligence, IDC. “Most enterprises will not rebuild their data infrastructure to adopt agents. They will add agents to the systems that already run the business, which makes the transactional core and its ability to serve analytics, retrieval, and memory from the same live data the practical starting point for agentic workloads."

“Most platforms are racing toward agents from the analytics side, which means working backward into transactions, the hardest workload to get right,” said Sanjeev Mohan, Principal Analyst, SanjMo. “Building outward from a proven transactional core is the more durable path, because agents need a foundation that doesn’t shift underneath them. The companies that win with agents will be the ones that collapse the data sprawl into a foundation agents can actually trust.”

A New Identity to Match What MariaDB Has Built

Enterprise Platform 2027 is the culmination of two years of strategic investment and engineering, and its capabilities extend far beyond those of a traditional database. MariaDB’s new brand identity reflects that shift, with a redesigned logo and a bolder visual system around a vivid new color palette. It launches today on a redesigned mariadb.com. New MariaDB logos and brand guidelines are available in the MariaDB media kit at mariadb.com/about-us/logos.

“A brand should tell you what a company believes before you read a word, and ours was telling an old story,” said Tracy Strauss, CMO of MariaDB plc. “Our new identity shows a company that is open by design, unified across every workload and built for the agentic enterprise. It is bright and confident on purpose, because that is the company we have become.”

Availability

MariaDB Enterprise Platform 2027 is generally available today. The platform includes MariaDB Enterprise Server 12.3, MariaDB Exa, MariaDB GridGain, MariaDB MaxScale, MariaDB Enterprise Manager and the MariaDB Enterprise Kubernetes Operator. It runs on premises, in any cloud or as a managed service on MariaDB Cloud. MariaDB AI Retrieval follows in public preview on MariaDB Cloud later this month.

Saudi Fund for Development Signs Six Development Loan Agreements Worth Over USD 403 Million with Syria

 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia -

The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has signed six concessional development loan agreements worth more than USD 403 million with the Syrian Arab Republic, marking a significant step in supporting the country’s recovery through the rehabilitation of essential infrastructure, restoration of vital public services and improvement of living conditions for communities affected by years of conflict.

The agreements, signed under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflect the Kingdom’s continued commitment to supporting Syria’s development priorities. The signing ceremony was witnessed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, with SFD CEO Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad and Syrian Minister of Finance Mohammed Yusr Barniyeh signing the agreements on behalf of their respective institutions.

Spanning six development areas, the financing will address pressing needs while strengthening the resilience of communities and public institutions across Syria.

A USD 90 million loan will rehabilitate generating units at the Aleppo Thermal Power Plant, helping restore reliable electricity supplies for approximately 5 million people and supporting economic activity, while a USD 30 million water project will install 300,000 smart meters to improve water service efficiency for approximately 1.5 million people.

A further USD 105 million will finance the construction, rehabilitation and equipping of 25 civil defence centres, strengthening emergency response and disaster management capabilities for more than 7 million people. In the housing sector, USD 60 million will support the rehabilitation of up to 10,000 damaged homes, improving living conditions and community stability.

The agreements also include USD 100 million to rehabilitate, construct and equip hospitals and health centres, restoring essential healthcare services and expanding access to care, alongside USD 18 million to support digital transformation and institutional development at Syria’s Ministry of Finance, enhancing the efficiency and transparency of government financial services.

Together, these projects will contribute to restoring essential services, strengthening community resilience and supporting sustainable development, building on Saudi Arabia’s continued assistance to Syria, including two grants provided through SFD in September 2025 to supply crude oil and cover part of public employees’ salaries over three months.

iConnections and Preqin, a Part of BlackRock, Announce Collaboration to Bring Institutional Data to Violet, an AI-Powered Capital Introduction Platform

GLADWYNE, Pa. - Thursday, 05. November 2026 AETOSWire

Preqin's private markets data will be available inside Violet, iConnections' AI-powered capital introduction platform, to help drive networking and greater discovery for attendees of iConnections' Global Alts events

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- iConnections today announced a collaboration with Preqin, a part of BlackRock, that brings one of the industry's leading sources of private markets data and intelligence— spanning fund managers, institutional investors, funds, benchmarks and indices— to Violet, iConnections' AI-powered capital introduction platform.

Powered by Preqin, the integration gives Global Alts attendees access to a broader network of institutional alternatives market participants, inside the same platform where thousands of allocators and managers already discover one another, book meetings and build relationships.

“Alternative investing has always been driven by relationships, but the next chapter will be driven by relationships informed by better data,” said Ron Biscardi, CEO of iConnections. “Bringing Preqin's institutional intelligence into iConnections gives allocators and managers a richer understanding of who they should know, why they should connect and where opportunities may exist. Preqin has spent more than two decades building the data and intelligence relied on by more than 200,000 professionals globally. iConnections has built a capital introduction network of more than 26,000 allocators, fund managers and industry participants representing over $55 trillion in assets — and Violet, the platform where those relationships begin.

Through Violet, Global Alts attendees can use Preqin intelligence within their own workflows researching organizations, evaluating potential relationships, and preparing for the one-to-one meetings that define iConnections' Global Alts events.

“The future of private markets will be shaped by better data, greater connectivity and smarter workflows,” said Stephen Baker, Global Commercial Lead for Preqin at BlackRock. “Through our collaboration with iConnections, we're extending Preqin's comprehensive market intelligence into the places where investors discover opportunities, build relationships and make investment decisions.”

“We designed this collaboration so our members, Preqin and iConnections all benefit,” said Rob Tappero, Chief Revenue Officer of iConnections. “Attendees experience Preqin intelligence at the moments that matter most. With thousands of allocators and managers connecting on Violet, we see a long runway for this relationship.”

The Preqin integration will roll out to Global Alts event attendees through Violet beginning with Global Alts Asia in November.
