Discussing Improving Women Health and Protection against Diseases

Specialist doctors will meet during the “Comprehensive Medical Conference” that Abu Dhabi hosts on October 16th. Doctors will discuss promoting and enhancing women health to prevent internal, gynecological and obstetric, and skin diseases. They will also concentrate on providing optimum healthcare to women in all ages.
During the conference organized by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ), the participants will review the most recent medical development in relation to women health, clinical practices, and real-life case studies. Professional and skilled doctors will diagnose and evaluate these cases based on medical evidences. They will also discuss modern scientific concepts of modern medicine and implementing them on patients.
Lt. Colonel Dr. Najala’ Asaad Taher, Chairman of the Conference and Specialist Dermatologist at the Medical Services Department of Abu Dhabi Police explained that the conference helps improving individuals’ healthcare. “It embodies the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ strategy of providing excellent medical care to its staff in general,” she stressed. “It also contributes in fostering the UAE efforts in the medical sector in general. The conference will also create new cooperation prospects in the healthcare sector at the local and international levels.”
Furthermore, Lt. Colonel Dr. Taher pointed out that the wide international participation of 70 speakers, 23 of them from the UAE while 47 are from abroad will enrich the discussions and the general work exerted to improve women health. She also indicated that the speakers represent the UAE, USA, UK, Canada, France, Germany, KSA, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon. Concluding Lt. Colonel Dr. Taher explained that the conference will feature three sub-conferences about internal, gynecological and obstetric, and skin diseases.
It is worth mentioning that the conference targets general practitioners, family medicine doctors, gynecologists, dermatologists, internal doctors, surgeons, endocrinologists, and nursing providers. It will also witness the participation of female and male students of health and healthcare education. The activities of the conference will include workshops, lectures, and discussion sessions.
