Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reiterated the ministry’s keenness to encourage innovative ideas that enhance development efforts and keep abreast of latest developments. He also noted that the wise leadership and government of the UAE continuously strive to pursue new endeavors in creativity and leadership in a variety of fields, and believe in the importance of teamwork on both local and global scales, in order to contribute to creating a more stable and secure world, and to provide prosperous opportunities for the people through the exchange of creative experiences and expertise.
Colonel Al Dhaheri recently met with staff members taking part in the second Distinguished Leadership Competencies Program that is organized by the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the Ministry of Interior, during the launch of the program’s inaugural phase. He stressed the ministry’s commitment to develop staff members by designing high-end training programs on par with the international programs, with the aim of qualifying young talents among the Ministry of Interior’s staff members. Such programs would bring significant benefit and increase the level of performance at the ministry, pursuant to the vision and strategy of the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting is part of the Ministry of Interior’s strategic plan aimed at training and qualifying young and promising leaders for the future.
For his part, Lt. Colonel Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, Director of the Creativity and Leadership Development Center, stressed the importance of successfully passing the program’s different stages and completing the requirements of the leadership diploma. “The leadership diploma was designed and implemented with the most sophisticated training institutions and leadership meeting programs in order to pass on the experience and expertise of leaders to others. Moreover, internal and external field visits were also organized in this regard, with the aim of reviewing the best leadership practices,” he concluded.
