The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently honored coordinators and organizers of complaints from the different sectors of the Ministry of Interior and police general headquarters across the country. The ceremony, which was organized by the Complaints Department, was held in El Etihad Hall at the Ministry of Interior’s Headquarters.
Major General Dr. Nasser Salem Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed the police leadership’s commitment to provide high-quality services to community members, in order to protect the achievements made in terms of security and safety.
Major General Al Nuaimi also highlighted the MoI's efforts to improve customers’ satisfaction by promptly completing their transactions, as well as processing their proposals. He stressed the importance of following-up on and resolving complaints, finding the adequate solutions according to the standard response time rates, and enhancing the level of police work.
For his part, Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior, noted that community members’ transactions and feedback regarding police performance are being processed by qualified staff, working in the fastest and most accurate way according to the system.
Colonel Al Dhaheri added that the efforts made by the Complaints Department and the people in charge of implementing the system at the ministry’s different organizational units are ongoing, with the aim of achieving the best results and resolving complaints within the specified time in order to improve police work via the different communication channels.
In conclusion, Colonel Al Dhaheri distributed certificates to the honorees, which include officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and female staff members; in the presence of a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior.
