Police College celebrates the International Workers' Day

Under the slogan "Our workers … Thank You"

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, May 6th 2016 [ME NewsWire]

To mark the International Workers’ Day, celebrated annually on May 1st, the Police College in Abu Dhabi, represented by the Administrative and Finance Department, honored 13 distinguished workers from the College’s different departments.

Colonel Waleed Salem Al Shamesi, Director General of the Police College, said: “The initiative is part of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, to recognize the services provided by its department’s workers. It also represents a gesture of thanks and appreciation for their dedicated efforts and loyalty to work.”

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Rashid Al Salhadi, Head of the Administrative and Finance Department; Colonel Mohammed Butti Al Shamesi, Head of the Relations and Guidance Section; Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Saeed Sebae; Lieutenant Colonel Khasib Al Nasiri; and a number of college officers.
