Upon the directives of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, a delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior recently offered condolences to the family of the martyr Sergeant Turki Mohammed Al-Enezi. Martyr Al-Enezi was killed in the line of duty when he was deliberately run over by a vehicle during the Kuwait National Day celebrations.
During their visit to the deceased’s home in Saudi Arabia, the delegation members expressed their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. They prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the deceased’s soul and to rest him in eternal peace. The deceased’s family expressed their thanks and appreciation for the UAE MoI’s delegation and praised the kind brotherly gesture, which deepens brotherhood ties and unity of blood and destiny.
Lt. Colonel Mohammed Abdul Jalil Abdullah Ahmed Al Ansari, Director General of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi, head of the delegation, said: “Offering our condolences offered to the bereaved family reflects the deep-rooted spirit of solidarity and fraternity between our brotherly people; and embody our common Integration Doctrine. It also indicates that Gulf countries will always be safe and in peace, as long as the brothers are united.”
Moreover, the members of the delegation inquired as to the health condition of the soldiers who were injured in the accident and are recovering in the hospitals in Kuwait, praying Allah Almighty to grant them a speedy recovery. In turn, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior praised the UAE delegation’s visit, which reflects the spirit of solidarity and brotherly ties between both countries.
The delegation, representing the Civil Defense General Headquarters at the Ministry of Interior, included Colonel Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Salmeen Al Suwaidi, Captain Mohammed Nasser Al Harithi, and Lieutenant Mohammed A Hammoudi.
