ADP Honor Champion Runner Rashid Al Qubaisi

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Tuesday, April 12th 2016 [ME NewsWire]

The Force 7 Department at the General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police recently honored the top achieving runner Rashid Butti Al Qubaisi , who ranked first in the Spartan Race, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain earlier this month.

Colonel Rashid Saeed Al Shamesi, Head of the Force 7 Department, praised the outstanding achievement made by Al Qubaisi, former runner in the UAE Athletics Team, and coach for the Abu Dhabi Police Team for his valuable contributions and achievements.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Ali Hamad Shnain Al Hassani, Head of the Field Training Section; Major Salim Mubarak Al Khaiaili, Head of the Support Services Section; and Major Mubarak bin Qarour Al Ameri, Head  of the Force 7 Section in the Western region, along with a number of officers.

It is worth mentioning that the Rashid Al Qubaisi is the first Arab and GCC runner to participate in the first edition of the Spartan Race World Championship in the USA,, which is regarded as one of the toughest endurance races that require high physical fitness, which was held in Lake Tahoe, California, where he ranked in the 20th position.
